The Whitehall and Westminster World Civil Service Awards celebrate achievement in the Civil Service and are given for 12 different categories.
The First Commissioner, Janet Paraskeva, and Sir Gus O'Donnell, Head of the Home Civil Service and Cabinet Secretary, agreed that the criteria for the 2007 Leadership, Communications and HR Awards should include the promotion or demonstration of the core values in the Civil Service Code. The Commissioners are sponsoring the Cabinet Secretary's 'winner of winners' award and the First Commissioner will help Sir Gus in making the selection.
